Privacy policy for young people

Quinly is built so we never know who you are. We do not save your chats, we do not collect your details, and we do not share anything about you with anyone.

The simple version: Quinly does not save your conversations or collect your personal information. Your chat is private. When you close the window, it is gone.

What is Quinly?

Quinly is an AI chatbot designed to support young people aged 7 to 17 in the UK. It is not a real person, but it is designed to listen and to help you find support when you need it.

Your privacy is protected

  • No saving conversations. When you close Quinly, your conversation disappears for good.
  • No personal details collected. We do not ask for or store your name, address, phone number or school.
  • No sharing. Your conversations are never shared with anyone.
  • No profiles. We do not build a profile about you or track your behaviour.
  • No third parties. We never share information about you with anyone outside Quinly.

How we keep you safe

Quinly can recognise when you might be in danger and will guide you towards a trusted adult or a UK support service. This safety feature exists to protect you, not to get you in trouble.

Important: our crisis detection is not profiling. We do not build profiles about you and we do not store information about your behaviour.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or store any personal information about you, there is nothing for us to delete or change. You are in complete control of your privacy.

Safety reporting

If you have a problem with Quinly or a safety concern, please tell a trusted adult who can contact your school. They can pass anything important on to us.

Questions

If you have questions about this policy, ask a trusted adult to contact us through your school.

This policy aligns with the UK Children's Code (Age Appropriate Design Code) and UK GDPR. Last updated: April 2026.
